These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all sales made via the absorbentbyjrs.com website, operated by JRS Racing. The products offered for sale are Absorbent kits, patented innovations designed to improve the performance of mountain bike suspension systems. Each kit includes: technical foams with variable density, a specific plastic support optimised for air circulation, and the necessary mounting accessories depending on the pack/kit purchased. Some packs may be delivered without tools; details are provided on the product page. The product sheets provide specifications, compatibility information and installation instructions. The images are not contractually binding but are true to life.
Prices are quoted in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes (VAT included). Delivery charges are indicated before the order is confirmed. The applicable prices are those in force at the time of order confirmation.
The order is final after full payment. JRS Racing reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in the event of payment issues or previous disputes. A confirmation will be sent by email after validation.
Payment is made online via a secure payment provider. No banking information is retained by JRS Racing.
Deliveries are made to the address provided when placing the order. The delivery times given are indicative (usually 3–7 working days). In the event of any apparent damage to the parcel upon delivery (torn, crushed or wet packaging), the customer must, before accepting the parcel: (i) make clear and precise reservations on the delivery note to the carrier, (ii) immediately notify JRS Racing at contact@absorbentbyjrs.com. If the parcel is accepted without reservation and damage is subsequently discovered, JRS Racing will assist the customer in making a claim against the carrier, but the company cannot be held liable for damage caused by the carrier if no reservations were made at the time of delivery. JRS Racing cannot be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier or to force majeure.
In accordance with the law, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal. The product must be returned new, complete and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be issued after the product has been checked, excluding initial delivery costs.
Absorbent products come with a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover:
– normal wear and tear of parts (foam, compressible elements)
– damage resulting from incorrect assembly, modification, storage or improper use
– damage caused by incompatible third-party components or failure to follow instructions
In the event of a defect, the customer should contact customer service at contact@absorbentbyjrs.com. After analysis, JRS Racing will offer, as appropriate: repair, replacement, credit note or refund. Decisions are made after inspection and validation of the defect.
The customer is responsible for installing and using Absorbent products. The products are designed for sporting use on bikes equipped with compatible suspension systems; they must be installed and adjusted in accordance with the instructions. JRS Racing accepts no responsibility for: – material damage (including damage to other components of the bicycle) resulting from incorrect assembly or improper adjustment; – bodily injury, wounds or accidents resulting from incorrect assembly, improper use or misinterpretation of the guides. The tutorials, instructions and videos provided are for guidance only and have no contractual value. They are intended to assist the user; they do not guarantee a specific result. For maximum safety, it is recommended that installation be carried out by a specialist workshop.
Absorbent products must be used in accordance with their intended purpose and the recommendations provided. The user assumes full responsibility for the general condition of their bicycle and for complying with safety instructions. JRS Racing cannot be held liable in the event of use contrary to the recommendations of the suspension manufacturer or bicycle manufacturer.
The Absorbent system is protected by a patent held by JRS Racing. Any reproduction, copying, modification or distribution, in whole or in part, of the concept, product or protected elements is strictly prohibited and will result in legal action.
The data collected is used solely for order processing and customer relations, in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy.
JRS Racing cannot be held liable for the partial or total non-performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure.
These GTC are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montpellier.
